I was just thinking that this would avoid recruiting a third guitarist.  Also, Axl said that this would be a complex record.  I've seen the band Mr. Bungle live and the music they make is very experimental and complex.  They sample some of the instruments when they play live.  And isn't Chris Pittman in Guns N' Roses for his samples, loops, and additional keyboards?

I would say Robin and Richard will take turns on Buckets parts.

...unless they hire Vernon Reid, which they should...

Yeah, I honestly don't know if anyone, well at least in the current GN'R lineup, can play Bucket's parts.  I don't even want to imagine Robin trying to play them...j/k...

Lol I actually thought about this a couple weeks ago...but I don't think it would happen. I think that yeah, Richard or Robin will take them over as best they can or re-interpret them, or there will be a 3rd guitarist revealled to take it over. Or Bucket will come back if they offer him enough money.

I actually think that Richard and Robin will take them over. But who really knows?

I don't think they'd want him back anyway. They said he just joined for self promotion....

GNR's next lead guitarist

If you've written and recorded music that requires three guitarists, one being Buckethead, then you should have three guitarists to perform that music, including one who can emulate Buckethead.

No need to apologize, but it would be nice if people used titles that gave away the content of the thread, such as ' pittman samples bucket's parts???' That way people remember what the thread was about, read it when there is a new post if they're interested or leave it. Then they won't have to click on the thread to see what it was about.  ok

Thank you, see you changed the title. Hope you understand I didn't mean to critisize you or anything. It was just a suggestion. Rock on!

They could sample his little 5-10 second solos that may occur in some songs... however the longer ones would obviously have to be played by someone.
