Nah. Mark Wahlberg is a good actor to play a rock star, but he looks too much like Bon Jovi to play Axl.

I don't like leo much either, but he's a decent actor and maybe wouldn't totally blasphemize an Axl portrayal. And really, who else is there? And slash is lenny kravitz.
duff: keanu reeves (they even talk in the same monotone, and keanu has that delayed slow speaking drug-loaded? moron tone down pat!)

same here, Leo would be good, but I wonder if hes a guns fan or not.  Kravitz is friends with Slash, I wonder if he'd do it.

So, I just rented that movie "El Cantante" about the late Salsa Singer Hector Lavoe (sp?), and I was wondering, do you guys thing that a GNR movie will ever get made in our lifer time (Lets say in the next 40 years or so)? Also, if they ever made a Guns N Roses movie, who do you thing would play Axl, Slash, Duff, Izzy, Steven, Matt, Dizzy...right on up to Robin and Richard and the new band?

Sorry if this has already been discussed here, but I didn't see any recent threads about this topic.

They might. When i saw the musical JERSEY BOYS, i was thinking that the 4 seasons were the GUNSNROSES of their day. Johnny depp would make a great Axl. Or maybe mark wahlberg or Matt Damon. I don't know about the other guys so much.

of those you mentioned i only can see matt damon as axl, i'd take brad pitt.. but they are too old to play axl in the 80's

i've always thought something about chris carmack from the OC with long hair looked a lil' bit like axl

it would maybe be better with new talents instead of the old movie stars,
btw i'd much rather have an official DVD from axl on what has happend the last 10 years drool
i'm sure we wouldn't be happy with the result of a movie anyway..
