How can someone almost 10 years older than Axl play Axl? Most of the movie will be about Axl in his 20's.....my guess it would have to be a young up and coming actor.....someone we don't know yet.....

They tried that in Charlie and the chocolate factory movie with all the kids... lol none of them made it big where i live i dont know about europe . All those characters never made it... i think they will use someone expieriened of course it is axl theyd have to be a good lead  beer

Here is the problem with all of your movies... $$$$$ thats the problem.. you guys think you can have Pitt, Sandler, Fraser, and all of them in the same movie.. there all max movie guys.. they make the big bucks.. you have to go younger, and less interested in money.. not happening..
Secondly all of your characters you have chosen are already over 40.. Depp , Pitt, etc... You have to go young... thats the only way to make a movie about a YOUNG band...
Secondly.. you make the movie uintil the end of the UYI tour... and end it there.. because everything after is a different era, a different band. You show why Steven got fired, why izzy left, the replacements etc.. this would be a great movie from beginning to end.. cuz a lot of shit happened...

So here is the Cast...

Duff- Hayden Christensen
Izzy- James Franco
Slash- Shane West, or jake gylenhaal (the nose man)
Steven- Pretty much anyone from Lords of Dogtown.. hes a surfer dude lol
Gilby- greg vaughan
Matt- Corey Feldman (blonde)

and Axl.. well hes the biggie.. so i give the honors to play him to the man with no age..
Johnny Depp.. he would be a perfect axl.. he can grow the beard.. he is thin.. hes got moves.. hes axl.

and that my friends would be the BEST GNR movie ever... and you know just because of all the male actors the broads will go watch this.. and us guys.. well there the most dangerous band ever.. fuck who wouldnt wana see all the riots, drugs, alchohal, girl and best damn music ever?

Beats any nirvana flick
