Yeah, why is Axl lumped in with three drunken drugged up space cadets?  He's been clean for AGES!  He even fired or threatened his own band members over drug use... makes no sense.

I was wondering what he's supposed to have improved.  Its not like he's spent the last 10 years in and out of rehab or something.  That's the only reason I didn't vote for him or anyone.  I don't think he needs to "improve".

His progress is questionable in that he can't seem to get motivated enough to complete his album, with several emtpy promises over the years. 

Now he's out in public and things seem to be rolling along smoothly. 

Remember, he once said "people say I'm a recluse.  I just don't go out much because I don't have a reason to.  Why would I be in the public spotlight if there's nothing going on (tour, record, whatever.)  When there's something going on, then you'll see me."

I basically paraphrased that quote because I can't remember what it really was, but it would seem as if he is "improving."

So, that's why you vote for him.

I voted for Scott, but I can see the propaganda wheels from this and other boards has worked as Axl has taken a huge lead.  The fact Scott's managed to keep himself clean for 2 years as fucked up has he's been deserves some positive recognition.  But maybe he wrote better song's when he was fucked up
