Yeah, I also think some of these mods need banning powers. It couldnt hurt. Way too much insults around here in recent weeks, and that is supposed to be against the rules. Maybe if everyone knew that certain mods(or all mods) could ban, everyone would take the mods warnings more seriously.

There really isnt a downside to this strategy. If a mod happened to make some mistake, then Jarmo could just "un-ban" the person the next day.

Well, I did delete the dude's threads until I went to bed.  I teach 2nd grade and have found it's much easier to deal with 25 seven/eight year olds when I've had at least 7 hours of sleep.     When I left, the spammer was not online and I'd cleaned up the mess he'd made.  Evidently, he came back.

Yeah, I think he lurked until he saw that you had logged off.  I wasn't watching your stats, but it seemed once he came back, he just exploded with new threads.

At least he's not around anymore though
