I was searching the message board if anyone had made a topic about this but couldn't find.
Anyway the thing is that the best band that had excellent outros is GNR, from songs like november rain, locomotive, rocket queen, double talking jive the outros seem to have that special touch of yearning of hear the song over and over again.
Do you think that the new record will have this kinda of outros?

More recently, I think that "the blues" outro is great.

Good topic! I love the Locomotive and Nightrain outros. Something about a fade out i love.

Maddie has got the best of the new bunch i think, with Axl and Robin overlapping lines.

I agree totally,  Locamotive being a favorite, RQ, November rain is up there, and patience is also cool.
I think its's the creativity that axl brings to his music.
I really hope "the new album" see's the light of day.

Locomotive or Coma - even if i wouldnt call that last minute an outro, it's pretty much a part of the song -

Yeah definitely!? Everytime I hear RQ's outro I think of Chuck Klosterman's book about rock n roll and how he calls that outro "the best 2 minutes of rock ever created" or something like that.? Can't remember the exact quote or even the title of his book.?

As to the big three new songs; Love the Blues outro, Maddy's is pretty cool, but not a big fan of CD's outro (although it could have been changed 19 times by now).

I love Its So Easy's outro.. and Mr. Brownstone's outro. They both have the same thing going.. the quick change of tempo.. cool stuff.

And Rocket Queen's outro is just amazing. To say that it was the best 2 min of rock 'n roll is certainly not out of the question. I remember the first time I heard it.. thought the song was about to end.. and BAM! Freakin great

Locomotive's outro is easily my favorite - drums, piano, Axl, and just a little bit of guitar as the melody hurdles ahead... it's just awesome.

Breakdown and also Patience are great. Not a huge fan of Don't Cry's...

Although is not a GNR song, Sympathy for the Devil's outro kicks ass too.
