So, I'm a diabetic so I drink diet pop. But, if I had a choice to choose between Coke and Pepsi I would choose regular pepsi because I think Coke and Diet coke are just nasty especially diet coke.

So, I was wondering if people prefer coke or pepsi more.

Hmm, pretty hard choice actually, if you'll ask me.

It depends, from time to time.

Right now I drink Pepsi, but I probably will get tired of it pretty soon, and then I'll drink Coke.

If I have to take one, I'll go with Pepsi, why? Because I like the taste better, not that super-sweet taste that regular/light Coke have.

They say that Pepsi and Coke taste different in every country...in my country Coke rules and Pepsi tastes like shit

I remember in the UK that Pepsi tasted like shit but Coke wasn't as good as it is here in Australia IMO.

Anyway of course I say Coke  Cheesy

This happens to be a major pet peeve of mine.

I believe SOME people can taste a difference between pepsi and coke.  However, I don't believe that the difference is enough to make one or the other so disgusting that they simply can't drink it.  If you like the general "cola" flavor then the slight differences between pepsi and coke really don't make that much difference.

I think people claim to only drink one or the other for attention, or because they think one is "cool".  I have a sister who makes a big production at my house  if there is only Pepsi available.  She has to announce "I don't drink Pepsi."  And I have to tell her to buy her own soda then and shut the hell up.

I prefer Pepsi slightly, it doesn't really matter if I don't have a choice though.


Cold Pepsi goes down slightly smoother I feel.

you're right about the coke tasting different in different countries.  I went to the coke plant in Atlanta and there were like 50 different flavors all labeled by country.  Some were awful - I especially remember the one for Italy being the worse.

 hihi  Actually it was very bitter.  It was funny to see everyone tasting them and when they got to Italy, they would freeze and then try to get someone else to taste it.  hihi

I don't care either way, just so long as it's made with SUGAR and not that high fructose corn syrup crap.

If sugar, give me Coke or Dr. Pepper.  With HFCS, give me a Vanilla Pepsi or Lime Coke.
