www.usarockfestivals.com:

Go there and click the Ozzfest picture...apparently he's revealing the headliners later this week, and its either gonna be GN'R or AC/DC.

I'm gonna e-mail him and try to find out if he'll tell me beforehand.

I think its safe to say that something will be happening this summer. Axl talking, the buzz in the air...somehting will happen....

honestly though I want the album before any touring...or atleast a single, tour and album after the summer festivals....

i pray we dont get anymore tours without a followup

Ain't that the truth. Something is definitely about to go down. If GN'R is going to play all of these festivals (Download, Ozzfest), then they need to have at least a new radio single out.

And also, since GN'R isn't going to play Reading/Leeds - dare I speculate its because they're going to be commited to Ozzfest?

Sorry, I can't see GN'R at Ozzfest. It's too "hardcore". I think it's bullshit.

Well, if you go to the site and take a look at who is rumored to be the main stage acts this year, its more hard rock oriented:

AC/DC or GN'R (headliner)
System Of A Down/Godsmack (co-headliner)
Disturbed (co-headliner - CONFIRMED)
Avenged Sevenfold (offered)
Black Label Society (confirmed)
Trivium or Stone Sour (rumored)

Its not too far fetched to see GN'R playing a stage consisting of those acts.

Didn't VR just do some shows for Ozzfest last year?

So when does Ozzfest kick off this year?

It actually says rumoured headliner. Which means its pretty much bullshit.

and he also says he almost have the headliner confirmed, so wouldent that mean that its AC/DC or GNR? And he will reveal it later this week...

Well considering its going to be either AC/DC or GN'R - there's a 50/50 chance. Unless Ozzy or Black Sabbath decides to do their umpteenth reunion.

And as I said, GN'R is not playing Leeds/Reading this year - I don't think its too hard to speculate that it could be because of prior commitments.

Again, with everything, you just cant say a damn thing about truths, and speculation till there is 100% confirmation.

I highly doubt he'd pullout of Ozzfest.

He only has so much credibility left.  Undecided

After the way Sharon treated Iron Maiden last year (mercks "other" boys) I'd be surprised if he would want Axl on her stage. Who knows though?

I think when we do get news it will be a shitload , single , album release date and tour news all in one huge lump.
