I wonder what these critics compare the New stuff to?  Is it compared to old GnR? The current "rock" bands out now?  Or that rap stuff that people think is music?  Critics don't state any facts why the music isn't any good or on what they base their opinion on.  They simple say something sucks and get paid for it.  Whew, I wish I had that job.

My beliefs about Axl have as much right here as yours. I've given reasons for my distrust of him (yyou can figure that out on your own, can't you) and admitted I love his music, so why should you be so blunt; only giving threats without explanation of your thoughts. This is more a note to you in general than to that last response.

they may not compare it to anything, they may just not like it

if I hear a song for the 1st time, and i don't like it, I don't compare it to anything, i just don't like it

maybe they are comparing the leaks to previous GnR material because if you haven't heard them, it will give you a point of reference

Yeah some critics could listen to The Beatles for the first time and say they suck.  Even though from a musical standpoint they are amazing.  Just because you don't like it doesn't make it suck.  If the critic knows anything about music he would review the songs from a musical standpoint and then base his decision on that.  And at the end of the article give his own opinion.  The only thing that sucks is a critic getting paid for not doing his job.

"Axl fucking sucks because he didn't put an album out in 13 years."  "The leaked songs are weak because they weren't put out 13 years ago."  "Axl is done, should've been 13 years ago." "Hey, now that Hustle and Flow song, all I can say is WOW they are lyrical geniouses!"  "Axl maybe you should take a page from 3, 6s book and put out something good."

There, I should be paid for the review.  Don't go using it now.

Not everyone's going to like the new album.  That's a given.  There were plenty of detractors of AFD and the Illusion albums
