Also, about these leaks.....

what if they are all the "unfinished" songs?  Axl said that he had about 26 or so songs, and about 13 that are right about to be finish and put on Chinese Democracy.

What if TWAT, IRS, and Better are songs that won't be on CD, but on a later album?  would you be dissapointed?

If CD comes out this year, could it be possible that these leaks aren't meant to come out for several more years?

KROQ in LA played IRS today! ?During the evening rush hour. ?The DJ claimed to be only the second one in the nation to play it.

He left it for the next DJ who said she wants to play it too and that she digs everything axl.

They explained it was found floating around the internet but not that it was a low quality demo. ? I hate that people are hearing low quality IRS instead of a finished version of TWAT or BETTER.

This is the best possible thing that could happen, KROQ's the most influential radio station in the country.  If they get behind it, anything could happen.

IRS is #1 on KROQ Furious Five at 9!!!   beer beer beer

Nicole introduced the song by saying something to the effect of "it's Axl Rose with a bunch of guys. He's entitled to the name. I dont feel like arguing with you guys about it"  hihi

the biggest rock station in LA...KROQ....just played IRS as the most requested song on their top 5 at 9. It also sounded like a studio version...it was pretty close to the leaked version just a touch cleaner....the more i hear it the better it gets and i just want to turn it up really loud

IRS really grows on one.  There is no doubt, that this was meant as a teaser.   The flamenco guitar intro, the way the guitars and Axl's voice are like razors from 1:05 to 1:30, and the last minute with the blood curtling scream!!

Any link to this news.  I would like to forward on to a few Program Directors.

I dont know why they dont have a list, but there should be a link to the email.   Nicole just played it as the #1 most requested song.

I agree with Minneapolisnewsman, IRS gets better every time I hear it.  It rocks hard, the Buckethead solo is short but very cool, I only wish I could hear Axl's vocals more clearly in the mix that was leaked

I came within a hair's breadth of a car accident when I heard her say, "yeah yeah I know you wanna hear the new Guns N' Roses"  and then she plays it as the #1 song!

Click on the email link here, and keep requesting it to have it played on Furious Five at 9:  http://www.kroq.com/music/

Pretty good for an unreleased demo... I remember some other radio station had a "new GN'R single" as its #1 most requested song back in 2002 or something... and that was based completely on an internet rumour!

Lots of dedicated fans I guess.  Or crazy.

103.1 in NYC were defending the crap out of IRS on Thursday evening when they played it.

I can just  feel it......IRS is going to be the first single...and the real release is going to be MUCH bigger/badder then the demo we all have.

I agree. And look at the friggin' play a DEMO gets. Every hour on the hour???

That is big, no matter how you look at it.

The DJs talk it up bigtime too.

I don't care about the negative calls. It is all very very good. It sparks interest and preps people.

Here is the thing about the TWAT bashing on WAAF. ?Yes a lot of callers bashed it and said how much it sucked. One of the callers said they should stop playing it but the DJ replied to we cant since we are getting tons of requests for the song to be played. ?When ever a song sucks people will call to rip it but when its good people just request it. Who calls a radio station to praise a new song? No one, they call or email to hear it again.

Like he said, and are they completely done with the new stuff at WAAF, or just TWAT??

GNR, because of Stinson's, Finck's, and Fortus' connections , will make it onto the KROQ's of the world this time around!? By the sound of "Better," gnr will have a modern rock hit on alt. rock, and hard rock stations!!

Another site posted that Merck called the Boston station and asked them to stop playing the songs, he also stated that the album isn't done, that scares me a bit?
