I don't think they'll play it - a 128 kbs MP3 doesn't exactly sound wonderful over the airwaves.

There's a 320 bit version of TWAT that someone posted here floating around.  But I don't really think TWAT needs to be played on the radio.  IRS is a different thing because it's been out there for a while and originally leaked over two years ago.  TWAT's a brilliant song even in unfinished form, but it strikes me as a song that will gain a lot when it's fully finished and mixed.  I don't think IRS is going to get much better

It doesn't matter - you can already hear the drop-off in quality from a CD-quality track to IRS when they play it on WAAF.

And that's a 192 kbs MP3.

No shit.

When "IRS" is played on WAAF, I have to turn the volume up in order to match the volume of other songs played on the station, at which point there's pops and static.

I'd think people will notice that.

And with a 128 kbs MP3, even more so.

If they're going to play TWAT they should at least play the 320 bit version  yes

If they're going to play TWAT they should at least play the 320 bit version? yes

All I've seen is the shorter version in 128 kbs MP4 format and the longer version in 128 kbs MP3 format.

dunkin donuts

im not going to get into an audio debate with you but the fm bit rate is less then 128kbs it is actuall 64kbs so 128 would be more then enough to play over the air waves.. im sort of an audiophile you could say in fact its my life
