GNR's 4 albums have sold more than ACDC's 4 best records although its probably very fuckin close.

 rofl
No they didn't!
If you combined Appitite, Lies, The Illusions albums and The Spaghetti Incident? you would just barley (if at all) surpass what Back In Black Sold by itself.

Well back in black sold 16 million, afd sold 15 million lies a few million illusions about 14 million total and TSI about 1-2 million.. of course those aren't exact number but that's the older numbers from the states..

World Wide Numbers =
Back In Black - 60 000 000
AFD - 30 000 000

and illusions and SI? don't rank on the list.

Where did  you get 60m? That is way too high.

I have no idea about those numbers.. I always thought the illusions were bigger outside of America being afd seems to be the big one here... if the illusions sold at least 14 million in america then it has to be at least the same once you combine evry other country

I'm pretty sure Back in Black's number is somewhere over 41,000,000........it does rank as the sixth highest selling album of all time.

If the band in question wasn't AC/DC but Led Zeppelin, this could have been an intresting topic... ?Undecided

60 mil is too high.

Dave Evans was the first singer. He was in for a year.

I think Guns N' Roses at their peak were the bigger band by far. No Doubt about it. Gusn N' Roses' music is alot smarter than AC/DC no doubt about that as well but AC/DC is the epitomy of a party rock band ?with an almost flawless formula. It's basically the same song for the last 30 yeasr yet everybody still loves it. ?I always kinda though of AC/DC's music as "drunk rock" ?AC/DC I think will go down as the more popular of the two just because they're like CCR in that nearly everybody form every age group seems to dig AC/DC. The same can't quit be said about Guns N' Roses. Haveing said all that I do think Guns N' Roses are the only real band who almost had a Beatlemania type hype when they broke. I don't think there sia ?abnd before Guns or since Guns that can boast that. Maybe Oasis but I don't know.

I agree with you there Mike. I like Guns way more than Zeppelin but in all honesty Guns N' Roses dont' compare to Led Zeppelin in terms of overall greatness. Not even close. ?I can admit that.
