So, is there any tread left on the tires? Or at this point would it be like throwing a hot dog down a hallway?

So cliched and weak you are.

The point wasn't "how great" he is... he has a style that no one else can do now. Him being in the band would give it some edge. Playing fast isn't the best man. Style is what he would bring to that group.

Thanks for that Roll Eyes

I'm not concerned about how fast he is (or was), just whether he can play lead guitar at all when he can barely play rhythm guitar, thats all. This of course is just my opinion.

I'd put Cobain writing lyrics.  That's his strongest quality, in my opinion.  Although, as far as deceased lyricists are concerned, I'd have to go with Lennon over him... maybe they could collaborate on a couple of songs.  That would be sweet!

Hmm...

as well as having the ones I put earlier, I'd have Mozart as the main writer for all the music! peace

I've just been watching Amadeus so I got a bit inspired! hihi Tongue

No way man! Mozart could hear perfect music in his head and just write it down with no errors or need for corrections!

Mozart = old timey equivalent to Axl

Beethoven = old timey equivalent to Scotty-boy.

Salieri = old timey equivalent of Slash.

haha... gotta love those forum arguments... Mozart vs. Beethoven! haha... I'd like to see Mozart make a press release about how Salieri said Beethoven was a phony.  Then Beethoven freaks out and writes a stupid rebuttal on his website, insulting Mozart's wig and creativity....  rofl rofl

rofl

And then Beethoven discovers that yes... he's tone deaf! (Actually that's fact. Beethoven was actually tone-deaf...) And then he checks into the Betty Ford clinic for his chronic crack addiction... rofl

I just thought of something with regards to our lack of dead bass players.  Why didn't anyone think of Jaco Pastorius?  He's done things with the bass that I wouldn't dream of.

Maybe I'll put him in a band with Frank Zappa, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Keith Moon.  That would be one sick ensemble.

Vocals: Freddie and Shannon doing a duet thingie, that would sound AWESOME!!!

Lead Guitar: Randy Rhoads, Jimi Hendrix, and Dimebag doin a trio Lynyrd Skynyrd thingie.

Rhythm Guitar: Kurt Cobain... if he can actually tune his guitar correctly, and then not smash it up halfway through a song.

Bass: Cliff Burton... or Sid Vicious... (if he can now actually play!)

Drums: John Bonham.

I dont know if everything is clear with the thingie part  hihi

Anyway I think this would be it:

Vocals: Freddie
Guitars: Randy Rhoads
Guitars: Steve Clark
Bass: Cliff Burton
Drums: Boham
Piano: John Lennon

Name of the group
Def riot higness of Metallin
