What the fuck is Axl doing with James Bum ? confused

Crazy world ! Everything can really happen in GN'R universe yes

Come to think of it, James Blunt said something about Elton John being a huge supporter of his work and lists him as a big influence on Oprah the other day... and we all know that Axl and Elton are good buddies, so I guess it's not that unbelievable.

James Blunt is on Interscope/Atlantic. And his management is Elton John's management company. I don't think his music is bad at all.

If anyone's interested, here's the way it's printed in the paper:

New York Daily News >> Thursday, March 16, 2006
Rush & Molloy
SIDE DISH
... COULD JAMES Blunt be singing his catchy hit "You're Beautiful" to tsunami-surviving supermodel Petra Nemcova?? The two, who were partying at Stereo Tuesday night with Seth Myers and Axl Rose, left together in the wee hours.? A rep swears they're "just friends."

end quote

FYI:? Blunt did a show at Webster Hall (a club in the Bowery) on Tuesday night.

Gypsy-modified to add:? Axl hangin' with a supermodel ... Who'da thunk it?? Tongue

He is managed by Twenty-First Artists which is part of Sanctuary Group.

He is a dreadul, dreadful musician. I only hope his 2nd album fails and we don't have to put up with our radios constantly playing his painfully bad music.

James Blunt is on tour.  I'm going to his concert tomorrow night in the Philadelphia rea.

Great singer.....very mellow music......far from GNR.  The guy has had a crazy life so I'm guessing it would be cool to hang out with him.

There has to be some "work" related reasons Axl has been in NY so much lately.

My guess is that all the finishing touches are being put on the cd so that come late April he can concentrate on rehearsals.  A lot of rehearsing leads me to believe that this tour will be heavy on the new music.

Finally a faint connection between Elektra and Chinese is made?

Maybe Axl could be getting Blunt to set him up with Petra. Petra looks better than Stephanie  beer

James Blunt is amazing. I'd rather see him opening for GN'R than A7x or BFMV but anyway...that's another story.

After hearing "You're Beautiful" about ten times daily for a few weeks, I'm sure you wouldn't write that.

I guess Axl happened to be at the club when James was there. I don't really see any "secret" connection between those two.

Oh yeah, you guys forgot to mention that James Blunt is currently #1 on the singles chart with "You're Beautiful" and #2 on the album chart with "back to bedlam"....

Yeah he sucks...

 Roll Eyes

Yeah, and the Ketchup Song also made it to number one in the UK...  Roll Eyes

My guess is it's just a coincidence both if them were at the same club

There was a report on television 2 nights ago. The report was talking about a new web site that pin points the latest where abouts/sighting of celebrities. They showed the web site, it showed a map of New York along with afew arrows attached to each arrow as an image of a celebrity. The web site could also be viewed from some mobile phones. From what i could gather, the information the site gathered was from anyone who could offer information on where abouts. So some sighting of some celebs were only 10 minutes old. I have no idea how successful the site is, or if it only overs the US. I should image Axl will be appearingon there soon, what with all these reports.

The only problem with the televison report was, they did not give out the www address  peace

It was on CNN last night, gawker.com is the URL.
