Well when you think of it, a lot of songs from UYI were played and experimented with live in the late 80s, so it's quite possible that any instrumental that Axl plays and likes live could end up becoming a song on a new album.  It's probable that what you heard is something from a new song Axl was experimenting with and looking to garner a reaction from fans to gauge if he should pursue it further and put it on an album.

I think the music was part of a legitimate new song that Axl was working on... and who knows... could be "This I Love" drool.... the lyrics on the other hand strike me as Axl just fucking around... didn't he play that around the time he was making Conan O'Brein jokes during the MSG show?Huh

HAHA. Danke.ok

Yeah... that riff after the "asshole song" sounds like the beginning of something major... not just Axl fucking around on the piano.

Maybe this is "This I Love" just a different section of the song.

You can only hear bits of it, it's from the makin' if Estranged, just basic Slash playing guitar over people talking and you can hear Axl whistling at the end:

http://rapidshare.de/files/15630995/09-guns_n_roses-unreleased_song_from_making_of_estranged-ksi.mp3.html

Or it could just be another song, but at that time the whole band didn't have many songs that both they and Axl knew, so who knows what song this could of ended up being.

Axl just played it for laughs, which worked well in the moment, but it was just a joke. He probably made it up on the spot or earlier that night.

One like one of about 50,000.  Seriously, everyone knows.

Yeah, we all know it... Geezer sang it, though, not Ozzy.

Actually, Bill Ward sang it.

I stand corrected.   peace

I remember it being significant as the first Black Sabbath song that Ozzy never sang on.

I'm not sure, but it'd be great if they started playing "It's Alright" before November Rain.? I'm probably one of about 50 GNR fans who know that's a Sabbath tune.

no your not.... anyone who knows anything knows that.... and anyone who knows nothing can read the inside cover of Live Era and figure it out..... your not one of anything that knows anything..

Wrong piece from "Making of Estranged"...  I was told "This I Love" is possibly the beautiful piano piece played during the part of the video where Axl is hiding on the shelf above the kid's room.  Know what I'm talking about?
