Did anyone see this? GN'R got 36 or 37 with Estranged, what the fuck is that? The way they chose the songs was fuckin stupid. It wasnt like they were shit bands, it was when a Metal band released a softer song so VH1 call that bad.

as for Estranged, most non-gnr fans don't like this song and can't find it as brilliant and complex as it actually is
...I've asked some friends of mine who don't listen to gnr that much and...dunno why, but they find it boring  Shocked

I showed a few of my mates that arent really into GN'R and most really dig the song, but I cant see how anyone can dis this tune.

that show was dumb. the songs they picked werent bad at all they were awesomly good. i enjoyed watching it though cause they had some good some and it was funny what some of those comedians said. i cant beleive cherry pie was third? Angry that song is cool

Estranged is a crazy intense song, and slash's work makes it what it is (in my eyes)...

But seriously to a fan who is drawn in my my michelle, welcome to the jungle, or any appetite song...estranged might just be a little too much...it took me a while to adopt a liking to the song but there are WAY worse so-called metal songs...Poison anyone?

Estrange can bore alot of people... It's long and lacks excitment.
I personally love the Riff and the Second solo but the rest is average.

Don't think it should be on that list though... Maybe the super cheesey, over the top, dolphin filled video helped it out.

GN'R aint metal and shouldnt have even been on the chart. They're metal influenced but not metal

the word metal is usually anything from the hair band scene to metallica or pantera slayer..  The name used on vh1 ca be describing poison or winger

if you weren't a big time gnr fan estranged was just to way over the top for a 1993 release

the video is way too over the top and why do you need dolphins and carries etc.
then they said but it's still got slash playing and axl singing so its all good

Change the thread title to Bad Metal Song Video's hihi hihi

Many people started to get turned off by GnR with the Video's to NR and Estranged back than
they thought they were selling out

Compared to the videos to WTTJ, SCOM and PC,  IMO it's understandable

Apparently Axl used To take his Dolphin in to the studio with him when recording It went everywhere with him rofl rofl
