Fortus n' Finck r' fuckin' GODS to me, they both have there own style and r' THE BEST at what they do, but most of all there fuckin' cool as.!!!!

Listen to The Blues solo, now thats a fuckin' beautiful lead right there, n' that is Robin fuckin' Finck!!!

"The Blues" is a perfect example of the Richard & Robin duet. 1st solo by Finck, 2nd solo by Fortus, both sound great.

quick question abou them. has anyone emailed them of late talking about the official lineup or the tour dates and if NA is on the near future plans?

if you mean has anyone emailed robin or richard- they are both apparently under 'gag order' regarding anything concrete as it relates to CD and the tour, so i imagine people wouldn't be getting responses until uncle axl makes his statement (whenever that will be)

but aren't teh tour dates et in stone.. Why aren't these guys at least out promoting the shows.. ?

They don't really need to. The shows are half festivals, which sell themselves. And the other shows seem to be doing pretty good. Helsinki sold out in 8 mins and a second night was added, that other show sold out already... it's still 3 months+ until these shows. A bit early for the band itself to go over there and do promotion... and unnecessary.

If it was the US it might be a different story.

Umm, I disagree. Finck has always been dreadfully inconsistent for my taste, especially with the old material. He even falls behind the rhythm of his own solos.

Finck sucks. Simple as that. I dont like his sound, and his solos really suck. The funny part here is that "Slash was replaced by Robin Finck" I cant even compare those two.. I dont know why Finck is in the band. But that's just my opinion.

Fortus is great. He has a great sound, and the outro of The Blues is wonderful I think that he should take some of BH's parts on the songs. Richard is way better guitarist than Finck.

Amen, brother! When I first watched the bootleg DVD for RIR3 and heard that travesty of a solo that Finck played on November Rain I wanted to push my finger right through my eye into my brain and swirl it around. That's how awful it sounded. Ficnk should never again be allowed to play any of Slash's old solos. Fortus does a MUCH better job playing that solo on the Boston 2002 bootleg DVD.
