I doubt it dude.. I think given the time etc. fans expect originals. But hey if it rocks then why not. Plus imagine the shit Axl would cop about not being able to write his own music without Slash & Izzy and all that kinda crap.

Maybe he'll do a cover or two live. Brian May making a guest appearance on guitar on one of Axl's songs and maybe then a Queen track would rock! I tend to think the b-sides will be demos which didnt make the CD, instrumentals or maybe a live recording.

I don't know if I'd like to see a cover, but I think it would be possible.  AFD was the only release that GNR did without a cover.  Mind you, they got all the cover songs out in TSI.  If there is a cover, I'd like to hear Axl's take on some Elton John, as he likes to list him as an influence and friend.  Tiny Dancer would be an awesome song for Axl.

Thanks 2 those who went 2 Mustang Harry's on May 12th. That made my first concert experience something I'll never forget. Never did I feel like I fit in anywhere as much as I did amongst you strangers

Seems kind of lame to have covers on an album that?s been in the makling for 13+ years. But as you said, if get a 3-disc album it would be totally OK.? Tongue

Personally I'd hate to see one and people would accuse Axl of putting in filler material.  Hopefully he doesn't add one.

Perfect Cover List for CD:

1. Smells Like Teen Spirit - Nirvana
2. Never Gonna Give You Up - Rick Astley
3. Dr.? Feel Good - Motley Crue
4. Unskinny Bop - Poison

(Hehe, this is a joke before you all freak out)

I always said GnR needed to cover Nazereth and then they did... now if they would do the Immigrant Song by Zepplin, that would be awesome.

 rofl rofl rofl

I don't know about the Hey Jude thing.  With Catcher in the Rye as a tribute to John Lennon, maybe a Lennon or Beatles cover will surface as a B side

Zeppelin would be nice, but it's pretty much impossible to get the song rights.
