It does say that, but it's under the "TBA" category, which means "To Be Announced."  That means they are probably just guessing, based on the current talk of a March release.

Man, that's wrong... according to my premonition, CD is coming out June 20.   rofl rofl  it would be totally awesome though if it came out late March/early April!! yeah, it does look like speculation though.  However, with all the hype that surrounded a possible March release, isn't this the first we've heard of an early April release?  then again, the April release is probably based on the fact that it was originally slated for March, and nothing has been brought forward as of yet.  It's March 15 now, it's very unlikely that CD will be out this month.  I'm happy that there's another Guns N' Roses Greatest Hits package, this one compiled by the band.  I'd like for them to call it Vol. 1 though, cause they're gonna have a few of the same songs there.  It would also open up room for there to be a Vol. 2 in the future, after the potential release of new material.     yes

As an endnote, wouldn't it be awesome if the leaks were on the greatest hits package?  Think about it, there have been positive reviews all over the net!  It would make sense that these, although unofficially released, would be some of GNR's greatest hits.   Wink  That would be a funny thing.

looks like there will be a Guns release either way. CD or Hits II

Maybe if CD is not released then Hits II will be. In NME, they think CD will be released based on what info is gathered on the recent leaks. So far, the leaks have proved possitive. CD will be released in 2006, so March/April is looking good.

Also, what with Axl out and about and the band getting ready for the tour, i don't think there is anything more to be done on Cd, other than finished off a couple of the tracks from the 36. NME said, 13 tracks to appear on CD. So maybe the remaining 23 will be UYI3 and UY4  Grin

Interesting it says Welcome to the Jungle: Greatest Hits 2, as I thought when all the GH2 rumours began there was a GH2 and also an album called WTTJ: The very best of GNR. The album listed here seems to be a combination of the 2.   Huh

There have been many web-sites that have listed Chinese Democracy on their list of upcoming albums. Some have dates, some don't. This really isn't anything that special to me.

Hey, I'll cheer when Axl or someone issues a press release stating when CD will come out.

Releasing anything called Greatest Hits Vol. 2 would be embarrassing. They don't have any other hits apart from Nightrain. If there has to be another compilation it should be called something like 'The Best Of...' or 'The Ultimate Collection' or 'Appetizer' or 'Appetizer for Destruction' or 'Chinese Democracy Isn't Ready And We Need To Cash-in On The Live Shows Somehow' ok
