lets not get ahead of ourselves  hihi

Festivals are perfect - that way if Axl does more 'no shows', it lessens the possibility of rioting

From the looks of it I think they could fill out stadiums in Scandinavia.

Demand is high.

I think they can sell out the new Wembley Stadium even before Chinese Democracy is out.

hihi Yeah, they already conquered the world with that stadium tour of 2002. hihi How many worlds do these guys want him to conquer without an album in stores? hihi

Seriously though, I agree with you about the festival route. Especially when he comes over here to the U.S. Do Lollapalooza or some type of event similar. It puts less pressure on Axl, and if there is any fuck ups, there is other bands to help pick up the slack.

90.000 I think. The Greatest Hits album sold over 1.1 million copies in the UK...bigger sales than UYI

I'm not trying to insult the people in Europe who couldnt get tickets to those shows. I think its more than obvious that Axl isnt selling out huge stadiums in the near future. With an album in stores, a few hits under his belt, and major promotion, GNR might be able to do it. But he's not going to pack stadiums full of people to just play 20 year old hits. You're a big U2 fan. If U2 hadnt released anything since Achtung Baby, do you think they would be selling out stadiums?

You just don't get it James. in here it's a different thing. things like this are "rare gold" for us, we usually get 1-2 big bands in a year, in contrast you get to see them whenever and wherever.

nesquick you're right, gnr have a very strong fan base in uk and europe!!!

For all people whose are sceptical,my point is that gnr have a legendary status in the world of music, and they have a huge fan base all over the world, and the most of them haven't information about Axl's new work!!!

GNR are ready fro stadium tour again, with or without new single(especialy if slash make a comeback)

Different set of circumstances James although I appreciate where you are coming from.

I mean if U2 hadn't released an album and Bono became a recluse for years and making an album which took so long the whole thing became a big legend and mystery.. then started making these public appearances, leaks on the radio and a public war of words with another singer.. and following a previous failed tour, announced upcoming dates which because of the previous failure and the fact he had to get it right the next time is a sure sign its being delivered.. then I'm sure U2 would sell out stadiums!

These European sell outs are an obvious indication that they could of had the date at a stadium and had at least 80% of it full. In saying that, these are at places where he didn't previously go in 2002.. so it might not be the same story if it was say at MSG. It seems the plan is to go back and do that right, after these shows and festivals are done, he'll go back and correct the 02 tour but not without a single or album.

I think Axl performing anywhere is "rare gold". hihi But I see what you mean. In countries that dont get many concerts, I'm sure Axl could fill stadiums. Imagine if he played in Russia? There would probably be as many standing outside the stadium as there would be inside. He might should consider playing there.

He told some shit about masacr in Srebrenica, but now everyone knows that no masacr in Srebrenica.Bosnian muslims put their dead soldgers from all bosnia in srebrenica, and then some stupid un man said look at there are 7000 civilian!!!
