 hihi

Conan has a soft spot of Gn'R, I'd still like to see him and Axl duke it out.

I wonder if Axl would ever to the tonite show when Conan takes over for Leno since Axl and Conan see to like to rib each other.

Great post, Conan's hilarious.  He's on too late at night, and I'm too cheap to get TiVo.  Sad
What year will Conan take over for Leno?  Leno's a one-trick pony.  His monologue is great because he's a stand-up comic.  His interviews have always sucked.

Conan's show will be a must-watch once the Chinese Democracy news hits!  I can't wait.  He will have at least a joke or two per night about the guy I think he secretly respects and admires...one W. Axl Rose.   ok

Why would Conan take over Jay? Jay's great, I love the tonight show. Conan is hilarious too, especially when he has good guests. The interview with Jim Carey last year was exceptional.

Because Jay Leno is retiring in 2009.  Conan was named by NBC to be his replacement, and Jay Leno fully supported that decision.

jay is supposedly retiring in 2008 or 2009, and then conan is going to take his spot. i think they annonced it earlier this year or during the hoilday season last year

they had another small gnr reference tonight.

they saluted the guy who played the wookie in star wars because he became an american citizen, so they introduced their newest character, american wookie, and he came out with one of those beer hats with the tubes and a appetite era gnr shirt on

Another GNR reference was on the radio a few days ago when Howard Stern and his crew were waiting for AC/DC to get into the studio.  Artie was screeching "For Those about to Rock," and they were pretending they were an AC/DC cover-band...anywhoo, someone made a comment on how singing like that can be tough night in night out, and Artie just said they could pull a Guns N' ROses and cancel due to the singer having thrOat problems.  He wasn't being complimentary, but a mention IS a mention.  I capped the O's because he stressed tose syllables a little bit in a mocking fashion.  Just like Conan though, it's all meant in fun.  I still think either Conan or Howard would make great interviews for our enigmatic and very reclusive lead singer.   peace

Conan had a sketch about how Nascar fans are fascinated with things that go round and round in circles and had a flying racoon, and then went to the oscilating fan with a wig and top hat while SCOM intro played

Just to let you all know--last wk (of Oct 05), Conan (late night talk show host in U.S.A.) was mentioning that Chewbaca (from Star Wars--the 7 foot monster-type thing) became a U.S. citizen.  Then you see Chew. walk out on stage, with a beer drinking cap on (where you put two cans of beer on your head and drink them via a plastic straw), and wearing a GNR top with "wttj" playing in the background.  I guess that a typical American: beer gusslin', gn'r listenin kinda guy!  yeaaah!
