You can really file a counter claim at any time before the lawsuit goes to trial. Long, long, long, delays are very normal, and responses long afterwards are usually part of a plan of a counter claim.

I really don't know what the bargain was that he broke, but it might have to do with this part:

"Based on his conduct in showing up at Rose's home, Axl was hopeful that Slash would live up to his pronouncements that he wanted to end the war and move on with life. Unfortunately that did not prove to be the case."

I think there was an interview with Slash and Duff recently where Slash said this wasn't GNR. I didn't hear it, just remember a thread about here last week.

K i think is this is TRUE that whole slash showing up at 5am thing is bullshit. imo its all bullshit. but what do i know. i belived it up until that. then i went axl isnt stupid enough to make lie's about slash as a response to him makeing lies about him and slash ment no harm in say he cant wait for CD and supports axl. you can not take anyone to court for that. and people ask slash about axl slash just doesnt start talking to the press about it all the time. ? ? the GNR world is insain at the moment. who knows whats true and what isnt. i wish i had a official GNR site that updated all the official news so i knew what was true.
