I don't blame Axl for being pissed about the law suit in question though....I think Slash/Duff acted like dicks and could have just picked up the phone and asked someone why their checks were smaller instead of saying Axl is manipulating the situation and what not. 

Slash and Duff have been throwing Axl under the bus for 10 years and Axl has said nothing.

What are you talking about?  When they have been asked a question they answered it as honestly as possible.  They dont slander Axl, they say he is an amazing singer and he is very talented.  They acknowledge that they could not get along and make the band work.  If you want to talk about slandering lets look at the "Where is Slash?  He is up my ass" comments by Axl in shows started with the first NYE show.  So dont go around saying that "Axl has said nothing" because he certainly has. 

I think the up my ass comment has been taken out of context....I think it was more of a slam on the fan, and less on Slash.  The guy prob had a sign or t shirt saying "where is slash" and axl got pissed and said "hes up my ass, go home"

This is exactly what I said when this first came up on the forums that this was totally aimed at the fan and not at Slash....

ON topic....Ofcourse they are going to sue...they aren't going to be getting together to talk this out.   I also find it hard to believe that Slash showed up at Axl's house at 5:30am unless he had a moment of feeling emotional and wanted to reunite with his old friend and complain about his new band.  I mean that can happen, if we get emo sometimes we do strange things.   But...I dunno Slash personally and if that would be something out of the ordinary that he would do or would that fit his persona and it's totally something he would do.   Hard to know.

If I'd said this a year ago, noone would believe me. But now that I've read this... it seems so fuckin true.

A year ago, a person that I trust 100% on this (but I can't reveal the name, if you know me you know I'm telling the truth) told me that things at the VR camp don't seem so good.

Something that I saw for myself when I saw them here in Greece. Besides Dave (who was having the time of his life) everybody else seemed to be in their own world...

One thing is for sure, this will reassure to the rest of the band that the new Gn'R is the only Gn'R and there is no chance of any ex members returning. That should make the new Gn'R stronger and erase any doubts in the minds of Robin, Tommy that they are not simply in the band because they are hired and could be replace in a flash if Duff and Slash came a knocking.

Axl was probably protecting the fact that he and slash were trying to work things out privatly. Maybe even trying to see if they could work together again. As usual Axl was just protecing himself and his private life. Things didn't work out and the beans are spilled. There is obvious truth to the grumblings of Slash and Matt not getting along etc. They mention Slash was sober so that Slash can't use the excuse that he was not and didn't know what he was saying or can't remember what happened when he spoke to Axl.
