I was just saying yesterday in other thread that those leak songs are way much better than Contraband.
Now RS said the same review.

This is fuckin great. CD has to start!!

Long live AXL... but please release it soon...

Wow, it must be true then... Roll Eyes

Music is subjective, why does this always have to turn into a GN'R vs VR debate like every other topic on this board Huh

Agreed, Better is one really good song. I thought he was too hard going in T.W.A.T, he should listen to it more.

also:
gypsy, did you write this article?? are you Brian Hiatt? or did you copy and scan this right from the magazine -- if so then why the typo's??? im confused nervous
She wrote what was in the article and saved as a jpeg file to avoid stealing, I guess.

It's like what Voodoochild is saying ... I purchased the mag and I typed out the review on to paper with a HTGTH watermark on it and then scanned/saved it as a jpeg file because other sites have a bad habit of coming to HTGTH to copy & paste the articles here and post them on their own sites WITHOUT crediting HTGTH ... AND THAT REALLY PISSES ME OFF!!! ?rant

I DO NOT work for HTGTH. ?(I'm only a member here like most of youze.) ?I am NOT Brian Hiatt. ?I DO NOT work for RollingStone mag. ?That's why, when I post something from a mag, ?I list the mag's name/issue number/issue date and the writer and photographer's names. ?

I'm just a GNR fan and HTGTH is the best GNR fan-site on the internet!!! ?headbanger

UYI got good reviews from Rolling Stone. They have always been more than fair with Gnr. I guess they know Gnr sells copies so they want to stay on the good side of the fans. Grin

Its bound to happen and us fans should get used to it....personally, I don't see how you CAN'T compare the two.

Thanks Gypsy
Finally a proper review
But
"It beats most of UYI" oh come on...
Yeah like fellow FANS, I think the comparison with VR and the "most of" bit are totally unnecessary  Angry
although these are demos.

And Twat is more like estranged than Scom IMO.

RS gave "Contraband" four stars, so here's hoping "Chinese Democracy" does the same. A four star rating from RS could be a big help.

i think that these new songs beat most of UYI

those songs were cool when I was like 12 years old.  don't get me wrong, i like some of them, but a lot of them are just silly
