Velvet Revolver is currently writing new music for their next record.  Stay tuned for more information.


Looks eerily similar to that old gnronline.com message!  Anyways, did they put this up to settle down any thoughts of the band breaking up?

Sounds like it.

My guess, and I admittedly dont have a whole lot to go on, is that the band (particularly Scott) will take their anger out on Axl more than they do on each other.  At least thats how they should react to such an obvious attempt to divide and conquer.

I have a feeling that Whaxl's comments will be used more for comic relief than song inspiration in the VR studio. I don't think anyone, outside of a few nitwits on the other board, takes him to seriously anymore. It's obvious that only crazy, isolated, bitter people feel the need to make statements like botaxl just did.

 I know this is off topic, but it will be very interesting to hear what Weiland has to say about this recent press release. I'm not much of a VR fan, but I've always been a big STP fan, and Weiland has always been outspoken. I cant imagine him keeping his mouth shut over this.

In my opinion, he did a fairly good response. He could have left out the childish insults, but he spoke some truths about Axl, and the GNR fanbase is really hating it.
