If this is true, I wish they could pick that original guitarist... That guy is awesome!

You mean Jim Martin?

Yeah, a Faith No More album without him on it would suck...And it did.

Seriously, either give us a source or somebody lock this piece of shit.

Not true - this stems from  a rumour about Chuck Mosely Re-joining

Bastards - getting all my hopes up.....only to dash them Cry

FNM are an awesome band - The Real Thing and Angel Dust are absolute classics, shame they kinda slipped up with their final two albums.

Thanks for the respest shown for my opinions Roll Eyes

As a matter of fact i been listening to King for a day for the last few weeks and even bought a new copy of Album of the year to replace my old one this week - and my opinion hasn't improved of either - a few good songs but thats it for me.

I'd be very intrested to hear whats to like about either - while neither is 'bad' they are dangerously average in my humble opinion - some weak vocals from Mr Patton (don't u think he kinda sounds like Dave Grohl in places on King for a day - always a very bad thing?)

King for day is very experimental and all over the place - it has some real gems on  it though , the closing track "Just a man" is a stunner as are several other tracks.
As for the Album of the Year ? I rate very highly and think it's a strong cohesive album and a fitting swansong for a criminally under-rated, overlooked (somewhat) band.
Angel Dust remains my favourite though...

As a matter of fact - Mr. Bungle has split up - with those being his high school friends, it is very unlikely that Faith No More will reunite with Patton.

When I last talked to Trey - he told me that certain people in the band needed to stop with the egos.  In this article it seems Patton says the same.  I suppose the rift is between Patton and Spruance.  That is a shame.

It's a travesty in both instances here....I wouldn't consider the hostile reaction Bungle got on the Sno-core 2000 tour to be an appropriate send-off for such a phenomenal band..At the very least, FNM was able to tour for their swansong....The Bungle story seems sadly incomplete....Knowing the attitudes of all involved, I would imagine any reconciliations to be out of the question...I could imagine the cynicism towards reunion shows of any kind

This is the 2nd thing that would blow me after gnr. Fnm was one of the best bands around. King for a day is a kickass album.

Anyone like this most excellent group?

I love how they combine so many styles into one, and pattons insane vocal range and change.

I love  the first 2 albums with him, havent heard the rest, but i have read it isnt with the same line up, guitarist left...which sucks cause he was awesome.

I did use the search function on these and the only thread was one of them doing a new album so i felt the title would be misleading if i brought it back up.

Also..what is there guitarist upto these days lol?

Yeah i love Angel Dust and The Real thing but the singer before Patton sucked IMO and i haven't listened to anything after Angel Dust

I heard Tomahawk's S/T album and saw them open for Tool but I didn't really care for them. and Mr.Bungle is too weird for me nervous But on FnM Patten's vocals fucking rule ok

My Favorite tunes are "From out of Nowhere" and "RV" and Small Victory. and alot more, those two albums by FnM I mentioned are ones i listen to from the beginning till the end, beer
