Nah, if Jim was in, Id be a little disappointed. Then it would feel like a cash grab reunion. The guitar work got better after he left. No doubt about it. This coming from a HUGE FNM fan. Its not like it really matters unless they go back in the studio. Then I definitely wouldnt want him in.
Yeah I'm also a huge fan - and let's face it their best album is a Jim Martin album.

There best album is an album Jim Martin played on, but wrote none of the songs.

I was talking about his writing contributions on Angel Dust, by the way. I know he had a bigger hand in
The Real Thing.
Thats my favorite. Then Angel Dust.
I felt some of Mike Pattons vocals were a little bit silly at times in Angel Dust which got on my nerves.

ah, I knew there'll be the same whiners than for Guns.
"it's not Guns N'Roses because Slash is not here", "it's not Depeche Mode since Alan Wilder left", "it"s not Faith No More because Jim Martin is not back"...baaah.
they can pick any guitarist they want, it's fine with me, I just want to see them back (Patton/Gould/Bordin/Bottum).
and even if Album of the year is not my fave, Hudson made a good job on it.

Your getting the lineup of (Patton/Gould/Bordin/Bottum). Patton isn't an original member either or is Jon Hudson.

even Courtney Love is more of an "original" singer for FNM than Patton if you're splitting hairs! not that she lasted long by accounts.
not bothered by Jim not being with them, they still kick ass without him - live and recorded (i love album of the year). Hope they annouce more than just Download soon

Thats because according to the logic of Axl, GnR never broke up, so they cant reunite. Faith No More did break up. And now, the same line-up that broke up is reuniting. So thats the difference. It is a reunion.

Had a listen to King For A Day Fool For a Lifetime recently, damn that's a great album. Hope they bust out some songs from that album at their shows, and I hope they make it back to Australia for some shows too.

I like the mellower songs on that album. Evidence, Just A Man, Take This Bottle etc. The Gentle Art Of Making Enemies is cool too.

Damn you're lucky getting to see Faith No More - the odds they play Montana are slim.

I did see them years ago, but had always hoped to catch em again
Read about the new greatest hits they are releasing - the track listing ...
