just found this video from clerks 2, (one of the Trainwreck videos, if your following the film like i am). after Kevin Smith ends his intro to the video, Welcome To The Jungle kicks in and lasts for the rest of the video.

That song was "Suzzane" by Weezer. It's actually a pretty cool song. As far as I know it was only released on the Mallrats Soundtrack, which I have and it's pretty good too.

It's also on Weezer's Blue Album, Special Edition/Double Disc.

I remember at the end of the Dogma credits it had that usual message about "Look for Jay and Silent Bob in Clerks 2: Still Clerkin'"

But the next movie was Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.... I thought that was supposed to be a sendoff from the whole universe, when did he decided to bring it back?

well, kevin thought since its clerks 2 and the characters are moving on, that jay and silent bob needed to be shown "clean".

i dont know about you guys, but i am a big clerks fan so hearing welcome to the jungle in this promotional video is really freakin awesome.

Apparently Clerks 2 turned into Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back at least that's what Kevin Smith said in an interview.
And yes Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back was supposed to be his last movie with those characters as he said that he thought he was getting to old to play the character and have it still be believable... but now he's filming Clerks 2...

He (KS) was also on a few episodes of Degrassi The Next Generation playing himself. Jason Mews was in a couple of episodes too.

i think he decided to bring those characters back after he made that f*ck awful movie with ben affleck a couple of years back, some shitty rom-com that got terrible reviews.
this is the only movie hollywood would pay for, for him right now

Smith also said that Jay and Silent Bob won't be back in another movie after Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back... So we might not see them still clerkin after all.
