Do you have a link?

I think it's safe to say, that GH's has covered the recording costs of CD.

I'm sorry i had to say that

Yes. Say, $13 a copy x 2,000,000 copies= $26 Million dollars.

Yes, but that leaves extra money if Axl decides to re-re-re-re-record Chinese Democracy. And like Minneapolisnewsman said, it completeyly covered the cost of recored Chinese Democracy thus far.

that is by far not what the record company made and i dont think axl made much if anything.  Didnt Slash say gnr members were not making money?  I could be wrong but if they did it woud be a very small amount I think.  Axl is not a rich man of off the GH cd.

Actually, I think it is nearly 3 million for this, in the U.S. ?The product, had barely any overhead, so the margins are very high. ?I would imagine it's pushing 5 million worldwide. ?Looking back one year, GNR had only gone platinum, so they at least sold a million units of this in the U.S. last year. ?Combine that will sales of Appetite, UYI, UYII, Lies, Live Era, Welcome to the Videos, Live from Tokyo, and it becomes likely that they pushed 2 million units of one form or another last year, in the U.S.! ?That makes, 2005 GNR's best selling year, stateside, since 1993 I would assume!! ?Good time to release the album, somehow after the 2002 debacle, GNR are gaining notieriety again!!

I think Steven Adler said in a inteview that he still gets over 300 000 dollars each year from his 10% royalties of AFD.
Guess Axl gets a lot more....
