Hopefully this is true because I think the band needs to really get things together and get tight with each other before going back on the road. I mean it has been over 3 years since they have played together, or even been in the same room at the same time for all we know, and who knows how long it has been since some of the guys have played the songs. As good as all the players are, I think they need to get comfortable with each other before going on the road if they really want to take the world by storm. I seem to remember Axl saying that before the first Vegas show the band had only rehearsed like once or twice together, no more of that kind of attitude I hope.

I wonder when the last time was when they all were together playing these songs..??  great to hear some positive stuff even though you knew they had to practice..

I think this is significant news despite some of the wise a$$ remarks....

Nothing is a given in the world of GN'R... would anyone have been SHOCKED if come May: (a) they hadn't rehearsed... (b) Axl missed his flight because he decided to watch the Lakers... (c) Robin was given the wrong itinerary and showed up in Milan when he needed to be in Lisbon; and (d) no one remembered to tell Pitman there was a tour!??! Nothing is certain with this group. Glad to see the solo bs is wrapping up and these guys are getting down to brass tacs like professionals. They cannot afford to fvck this up...

at the HOB NYE show axl said he showed up to practice.... it made it sound like it was one practice, maybe 2 or 3.  If they are getting together that soon in advance I wouldnt be surprised if they are also doing a bit more than getting ready for the show.  photoshoots, videos etc...... plus im sure axl doesnt need to be at every practice.
