I don't see why not 'cos normal ECW matches count so why not the title? Plus the new ECW is part of WWE, it's classed as the 3rd brand....

As long as RVD has the ECW Title it counts, as do his matches in ECW if you look at the rules it's points for a title win and title defence and as pointed out this is a 3rd WWE Brand essentially the only reason the ECW alumni are not available to draft is to try and keep some control on things, next game the entire brand and roster will be allowed to be traded, no offence dude but this just sounds like a worried guy......

Nah he's essentially defending one title, my point was when he drops the WWE Belt (but keeps the ECW one....) he'll get points for defending the ECW one.  It's like when John Cena wins it he won't proclaim himself the ECW Champion as well, plus at Vengence RVD was introduced as 'The Champion', neither company name was mentioned, he was not announced as one champion, if all you feared was he'd get double title defence points, well, don't worry......

I don't see the logic as to why he won't get double defense points. He is defending both titles against Edge, both of whom are in the game, and the titles haven't been unified because, well, this isn't boxing. If Edge wins, he'll be taking two titles back to Raw, to be defended either seperately or together. If we are saying that the ECW belt counts when it is on somebody recognised as part of the game, that it becomes moot once it is not, then I don't see how the Championship match on ECW is any different to if somebody were to hold the World and the Intercontinental and defend them in the same match. They're still two belts! How is it essentialy one title?
