i allways thought of it as a lame way to gain record slaes and a non explicit way for casual fans to get some songs. lol it was my first greatest hits by them

In Live Era, the end of Paradise City was backwards (except for the edited version of the disc) and lots of people thought it was done on purpose.  Certain things in the booklet were also reversed.  It was fixed, so if you have one of those early versions of Live Era, it might be worth holding onto.

I remember talking to the guy who thought Axl had hidden a special message in the reversal, saying "Fight the good fight, he is right, Tina's the girl."  It was something about his sister being murdered, and a conspiracy involving Axl Rose.  He wrote an entire online book about it called "The Illusion: Building the Perfect Beast."

I think the real mistake was that "So Fine" ever appeared on any version of UYI.  Wink

Wow surprised they didn't put "You could be mine" (edit out if neccisary) on that cd since it was like the best rock track off UYI.

But yeh the non-studio stuff from bands have errors all the time, its not unusal because there not properly checked.
