Damn, the guy just wanted to talk GN'R and you gave him all kinds of crap.  I'll be a nice guy and answer the question here.  Axl probably should change the name.  It should just be called Axl Rose...kinda like what Ozzy did after he left Sabbath.  Tons of people would still go see him cause he's still got one of the most famous names in music.  Hell even when Robert Plant and Jimmy Page got back together they called it Plant and Page instead of Led Zeppelin.  So that's where I stand.

i think we all agree Guns N Roses is Axl and Slash mainly--notable mention to Izzy and Duff......I think axl should release the new album under his own name that way it still leaves the door open for the band to reunite....Plus I think this is more like a solo album since the other members are all faceless players on the album......Guns N Roses is AXL and fuckin Slash....

I, for one, think he should change the name.? He's the only fucker left and has changed personnel time & time again.? You can't compare it to other bands, such as the Doors and Queen, who still have the original members minus one.? This band has no original members and only one - 13 yrs later. I think I've said it before...what if the Stones went into a "hiatus" and everyone left except Mick.? Then he came back 10 or 15 yrs later, with all new members, and still called it the Rolling Stones.? Same for Steven Tyler & Aeromith.? It's just not that band.........? ?It's just wrong, regardless of whether he owns the name or not.? ? ?
