I'm a llama!

« on: March 01, 2006, 01:50:04 PM »

I'd hate to be right,  yet I can't help but feel something is wrong.
I don't consider the rumours,  though,  the fact they said trowards the end of the year they have been in the studio and Duff said he hopes to have something out by spring...
We have spring and Matt says they are considering which 'route' to take.
Same time,  we have info about Duff and Matt jammin',   yet,   no sign of Slash,  Scott,  Dave...
Scott occassionaly mentions his solo album (if he gets bussy with that,  when shall next VR album take place??).
Every band should take a break after the tour to prevent burn out,  though,  this smells akwardly...
I told people at now non - update snakepit.org in summer 2002,  I had a feeling that Slash was doing something with Matt,  Duff and Izzy cause they all stopped their solo works and Duff stopped Loaded.
I'd like to be wrong, yet...
Anybody else feels that way???

i guess the silence can be annoying being vr was right in our face every other second for a year and a half or so.. I will only worry when there is reason to worry.. new gnr did eight million things outside of their primary group and now everything seems cool (tour dates)

I'm sure they have plenty of material just not sure what to use

^ I agree Mike.....they were on the road for the better part of 18 straight months, and did those shows around New Years.....sure they've been out and about and doing special appearances but I would guess they would want some time away from each for a bit after being with them so much for 18 months+ staright.  So maybe they go back to preperoduction may/june and then the studio.  We know they don't dick around when there recording.

They were just doing sows 2 months ago so unless something has happened since then, I wouldn't worry about it...  I would rather not hear much when nothing is going on anyway..  It got so tedious when the media were all over them every step of the way from the project to the release of Comtraband.. You just kept seeing the same shit over and over... I wouldn't mind a little update, but then again sometimes it's better off without because things change. Like when Duff thought they would have a record by X-mas.. To tell you the truth, I bet they already have the songs for the next album... And it doesn't take these guys very long in the studio...

Relax dude.

they are human beings.

they worked their asses off on CB and toured forever. they need some rest and relaxation like anyone else would.

they also dont wanna become overexposed and make people sick of them.

they will be back and will kick fuckin ass!

Dont worry bout it!

now after the 2nd record, u can start worryin but we will at least get one more VR record, thats a guarantee!

Totaally agree.  They haved to be a little burned out after not being in the spotlight for so long and then being right back in it  for a year and a half.  Give them a little time to chill.  They will be back.

Although I opened this topic,   I didn't belive that something like stuff in Axl's law suit would come up.
I don't belive that (Axl said a month ago that he spoke to Izzy the other day,  but hasn't to Slash in 10 years).
Nevertheless,   I still have the feeling something is wrong in VR camp.
