Apparently, Bon Jovi isn't too happy about all the buzz around Axl and GNR lately.

JON BON JOVI is disgusted rock rival AXL ROSE receives more media attention than he does, because the reclusive GUNS N' ROSES frontman "hasn't made a record in 13 years".

New Jersey rockers BON JOVI leaped to fame around the same time as the KNOCKIN' ON HEAVEN'S DOOR hitmakers and hates being regarded as an inferior to the group by the music press.

He says, "You know what p**ses me off? I was reading this British rock magazine this month and there was a story about Axl Rose and the $13 million Guns N' Roses record that was never made.

"That motherf**ker hasn't made a record in 13 years and he gets all that attention. You know what I've done in 13 years? A lot. But they have continued to write about the freak show aspect of him. Because he's a recluse. That makes him interesting, right?"

That really doesn't sound like Jon Bon Jovi. I'm not the biggest Bon Jovi fan, but do respect him for his ?songwriting and work ethic.
In the past, Jon and Richie have always said good things about GnR (weren't they on the behind the music ?special praising appetite)?
Regardless, I wouldn't worry about something that JBJ was quoted as saying.
I'm sure Axl isn't losing sleep over it, and neither should we.

why is it the only people that can express an opinion without being bashed, called an asshole, dickhead, et all are the one's that heap praise on Axl for leaks he doesn't want us to hear.

If that's BJ opinion, let him express it. ?He may be a little jealous that he's been around for twenty years, been fairly consistent about releasing music, yet never had the amount of buzz around his music as GnR's had around theirs. ?That and GnR's original studio albums, all 3 of them, sold more than all his did combined.

Are you reading the thread at all before posting this shit?


IMO, this artice is, if not made up, blown out of proportion. It doesn't really sound like the type of thing he'd say and mean it. Axl and GN'R have had a lot of shit like this from the press in the past and this could just be a similar thing trying to start controversy.

Ha ha ha... I don't think that source is very credible...

I also believe that Bon Jovi are a better band then Guns N' Roses too. They've made 3 records, a box set and 2 live albums in the last 5.5 years oh wait, they also have released 2 DVDs also... what have we gotten from Gn'R in the last 5.5 years?

A GH album.... and well lots of rumors and a cancelled tour.
