The worst thing is that VR got so big that the next tour will be stadiums or arenas, and I saw them a month after CB was released in a cozy little setting? and was an arm's length away from Slash. So those days are gone forever I am afraid.

I don't know how much bigger VR have gotten since they've been around, they played two shows in Sydney at smallish venues. The first show was sold out and the second about 1/2 - 3/4 full, so I don't know if they'll play bigger than that next time they tour. I suppose it depends on how good the next album is and how well it is received.

they need more success and a good opening act to play venues like stadiums, they are still not big enough at time for arenas.... Things take time.

Well they need to have the same aggressive approach they had at least when slither n ftps came out..

Remember it's not a reason to feel bad if you can't sell out stadiums, very few bands can sell 60,000 tickets especailly so soon

I made that point about not wanting to play stadiums based on a article I read while they were in the early stages of touring for Contrband

if you go to the below zero VR site in the articles archives, i believe it's there

My band just started playing "Dirty Little Thing" and man is that fucking fun!!! We are playing St Patty's day and are going to open the second set with that.... Gonna be awesome!!!

How cool. Can the guitarist in your band play that solo though? It's pretty tough to play!

Yeah its pretty hard fucking amazing what slash can do its unreal, but the rest is pretty easy didn't take long to learn, its one of my favourites

Grouse, I agree.? That is a tough solo for even Slash to play.? A year and a half?? Fock me, that is mind blowing.? He must really, really, really practice all focking day.? Cause that takes some impressive chops to play that with such little experience.

Yeah exactly, I've been playing for 7 years now and I'm still having trouble with that solo.
