Hey I was just thinking it'd be cool if  we had seperation lines to seperate the Admin's sticky topics from the general topics. I mean a thick line after the sticky's would make the forum more user friendly. I mean it's easy as is but this simple little feature would make the rooms more appealing visually and yes would make it even easier to navigate . Just an idea. Hopefully I explained it clearly. Cool

Bono.

Yeah like a thick 3-D kinda line would be perfect. It'd look great if it was red. Kinda like the way the logout, profile, home, etc. buttons look.

Yes, it is possible on SMF boards. I installed it on mine. It's just a little modification in one of the PHP files.

Is a simple colour change do-able? I never noticed it before.

No, you do need to modify a php file (the admin has to do it).

I think it's easier to make out sticky topics this way. To each his own I guess. Smiley

I agree it would benfit the board to have them seperated - there are so many in the jungle it takes a few ses just to find the regular threads, its a bit cluttered in there

I do agree the line here looks kinda weird. I was more thinking about something like this. This is what I have on my board:

I think this is a bit clearer.

It is possible, it's the same kind of board. Jarmo would have to edit one of the php files.

Don't worry Bono, in good time this thread will be deleted, as will any reference to it. Consequently the part that you played in implementing the new line will henceforth be ignored in the history of HTGTH.

The public line will be that we came up with it at the Tuesday meeting.
