yes they played together at ucla, i went to that show. it wasnt very good. the show was for some ucla booster club

I have a bootleg of the Peppers from a show in Tokyo 1990 and John plays a little bit of Rocket Queen in the middle of a song. John was a big Guns fan around that era, who knows if he still is.

Also Axl is wearing a RHCP shirt in the Don't Cry video near the end.
