axl records two albums

Sanctuary have confirmed that Guns N'Roses will have recorded their next two albums, when the recording process is complete.

Chinese Democracy, the first of the two releases, is set to be released this year, according to Axl Rose.

Is pretty clear to me.. Axl is working in 32 songs... 13 will be in the album... what about the other 19 songs?

I guess we have known for a time that there has been a lot of songs in the making. But i think its a really good news, that the first and the second album are beeing finish before they make a move! Great! ?

Or its because he doesnt want to have to go into the studio again after the CD tour to record new stuff. Maybe he wants to just tour for 2 or 3 straight years.

That would be my guess as well.  Axl mentioned this at a concert a few years ago.  I'm glad he's sticking to that plan.

Considering that Axl's songs are not the shortest of tunes. I think 13 at most will be on an album so 26 would make 2 albums worth of material (whether or not the second is ever released) with the last 8 songs not making the cut or finding their way onto a soundtrack.
