That is where they are from, and that's where the majority of the sales and fanbase will come from.
Don't be so sure about that. Exactly. GnR are legacy in England and I suspect the rest of Europe. Rock is still very popular in Europe. . . it's nearly dead in America though through Rap/RnB/Pop Yep. They did the same thing in '02. No doubt that people will be watching Axl & Co. very closely. It's a good idea to go do a few shows in Europe, then a few more in the middle of no where USA, then hit the big markets. I believe this was the plan in '02 but, ah well you know.... |

Could someone please paste in the confirmation, or else change the title of this thread because it is misleading. exactly. somebody tell merck to do his job and make a statement already... They'll make their statement when their ready. I daresay I'm guessing that statement is both imminent and will contain a LOT of information that we've been waiting for....just give it a bit. Axl needs to do these festival shows to...
1)Establish credibility with tour promoters
2)Present the new gnr to a new generation of possible fans.
3)Present the new gnr to the past generation of fans who are disgruntled that Slash+Co are gone, but will still stick around to see the new gnr because they bought festival tickets to see other acts.
