I really hope Catcher in The Rye doesn't get past its 9 second clip. ?If these leaks keep happening I don't think there will be as much hype left when the album comes out. ?Now Im trying to stay positive that the album will be out before Rio, and if they are planning to release it before then, they definetly need to issue a statement. ?Because if we get another leak thats a full song, its just ruining the surprse, so far theres IRS, Better, TWAT full, now CITR is probably going to be a full leak soon, then rumored are General and Thyme, I only hope it doesn't get past the 9 sec CITR clip. ?I mean think of how much fun its going to be to go to the store and buy Chinese Democracy, it'll be like the 80's buying a cd for the first time and wondering why its better then vinyl records or something like that.

On the whole trading/hoarding thing.......its just beyond retarded.  Unless someone for some reason is offering SERIOUS cash for a demo which is not only illegal probably, but really DUMB too.  If tracks are out there, like it or not, they are going to leak in which case they will get spread around for FREE.  Why some people feel the need to spend money so THEY can be the first ones to leak is beyond me.  I mean, does anyone think that WES guy is a hero or something?  You're an anonymous person on some message board....nobody is going to hail you as the next Jesus Christ or something just b/c you leaked a song.
And if you're trading and not sharing, but gloating about how you have this and that and other people don't......you need serious help.

We definetly need a statement that tells us EXACTLY when the album is going to come out.  We dont need fucking Merck saying it'll be soon, its almost finished, we dont need Geffen/Interscope/Universal sayings they have no idea its not on their upcoming releases Im starting to compromise when I want it to come out, I was hoping before the summer, but now Im hoping before the 4th of July, but I definetly want it to be either before or in early summer.  But no more leaks, and if they want parts of the songs to be heard, offer 30 clips on gnronline.

I agree with you, I think theres alot of positives out of hearing clips of these songs, but I would rather management release the clips with a statement of the release date.

Further Chinese Democracy leaks
A fairly exclusive, abbreviated preview of the Guns N' Roses track "Catcher In The Rye" has been recently leaked on the Internet.

First reports from Myspace bulletins led to an actual confirmation of the leaked segment by The Gauntlet.

Gauntlet Editor-In-Chief Erin Fox stated "It is obviously an unheard work of Guns N' Roses, and it is quite apparently the voice of W. Axl Rose..."

Such public leaks further the notion that "Chinese Democracy" is nearing official release, despite statements by Geffen Records that there is no official release date for the long-awaited album.

They are obviously not the finished product!
They sound rough and half assed so i m sure the ones you will hear on the actual album will be slightly better.
So enjoy what youve got now ................. youve waited long enough take advantage.

The album if ever finished or gets released will be put up on the internet before its officially released anyways.

Anyone trying to profit off these tracks is the scum of the earth and deserves a nasty case of VD.

I have no problem with leaks as IMO they're free promotion for the album.

Egotistical hoarders on the other hand don't deserve our time, and if they're trying to profit off someone else's work, I hope there's about 5 years of darkness in their future.
