Because I didn't like what I was hearing in those 9 seconds.  The length of time that you're hearing something is irrelevant. You either like the noise that you're hearing or you don't. I don't need to hear nails on a chalkboard for 3 minutes to know that it's annoying. I know as soon as I hear it. Nobody is judging the parts of the song that we haven't heard. |
