are you seriously trying to say Rhiad and Bediouns and silkworms are better songs than anything goes and your crazy

Yes.? I first heard "Riyadh And The Bedouins" and "Silkworms" live at the House of Blues on 01.01.01.? They were tremendous, live.? And I absolutely love the intro to "Silkworms".? Can't say that about "Anything Goes" or the AFD version of "You're Crazy".

My brother, or sister, you and I hear similar things. Anything goes and the AFD version of Crazy are probably two of my least favorite. Everything else on AFD is perfect. Riyadh and Silk I don't mind - especially the middle kind of Floydian synths going on in Silk. Good Job ok

I'm surprised to see so many people list "Anything Goes." I've always loved it. Best sex song I know.

There's no GNR song that I don't like, but there are some that I don't care for as much as the others. I've never really cared much for the acoustic version of "You're Crazy." I've always preferred the cranked up version on AFD. The only other GNR song I often find myself skipping is "Right Next Door To Hell." I usually just skip straight to "Dust N Bones."

A lot of people listed "Silkworms," which I don't consider since it isn't released and was only played live like one or two times (I think, could be wrong). However, I kinda like that song. I much prefer it to "Rhiad," actually. "Rhiad" is the least favorite thing I've ever heard by Axl and the gang.

So Fine. They never released Just Another Sunday. Otherwise, we would have a tie.

Another Trick question...there is no such thing as the worse song of all time...just least favorite. Mine would have to be Sympathy for the Devil. The images of that song and Brad Pitt moaning about love and companionship leave a bad image to me.

Good one!

I really dont care for the classic Rolling Stones version, and as a result, Gn'R's cover version did very little to add any interest to the song for me... no
well dude , you could say the whole spaghetii incident over anything!!

The general consesus I've observed is that "My World" is considered the worst GN'R song ever.... I don't mind it though. If nothing else it really makes UYI a total fvcking potpouri of musical styles, and critics can't give Axl too much sh1t now for experimenting with industrial rock... he had the balls to put an industrial track on an album in 1991... kind makes him look like a bit of a visionary- even if people don't dig it.

"Oh My God" was not well received intitially, but there's strong support for it among certain segments of the GN'R community that I have noticed. It's not Sweet Child O' Mine... but I don't mind it.

Personally, my least favorite is "Anything Goes"- it just doesn't seem like Guns N' Roses to me... seems more like a lame 80's party band song about sex... it seems like every band on the strip in the 80's had a sex song like this one... it's just not fresh to me the way the rest of AFD is... I guess the counter-argument is that AFD is all about sex, drugs and rock n' roll and "Anything Goes" is the sex element... but I think the whole "sex thing" was covered pretty thoroughly with some of the lyrics in "It's So Easy" and the recording of Axl banging that chick on "Rocket Queen". hihi

Personally, I would have preferred "Bad Obsession" or "Crash Diet" on AFD instead of "Anything Goes".

Come on... Panties down your knees With your ass in debris doing that move with a push and squeeze.....    I love those lines Grin

Dust N' Bones is the worst GNR song of all time. ?You Ain't the First, Bad Apples, Garden of Eden, and Move to the City are really horrible too.

Personally I like So Fine & I love Anything goes Cool so out of songs that have been released I'd say My World is the worst. Don't like breakdown or Don't Cry Alternate all that much either!

"My World" is an interesting song though...the lyrics really fit in with the music.  I can totally see Axl in the studio by him self messed up on pot and screwing around with sound effects and shit.  I wonder if Axl had to fight to keep the song on the album.  It reminds me of when I burn a cd and I've pretty much filled the cd, but there is like a couple of minutes on the end that is blank so I try and find the shortest possible song to throw in at the end to know that I've filled the cd.  Grin
I never really got into Double Talkin' Jive until  heard it live.  I just wish there were more lyrics...the whole instrmental thing just seems to drag on...up until that it is cool though.

My vote is for Silk Worms.  I don't count My World as a song, but if I did, it would be a tie.

I agree.  I don't consider My World a song, either.

I'll go with either Shotgun Blues, or Bad Apples.  I don't think anyone can say a "new" song is the worst until they hear a studio version of it first.
