i would vote silkworms but since i havent heard a studio version its not fair to judge. also i would go with get in the ring, its an awesome song, its just the 'bitching' part in the middle makes me turn it off everytime. i think its stupid.

so im going with shotgun blues. it just seems so generic, which is why i hate it.

Another Trick question...there is no such thing as the worse song of all time...just least favorite. Mine would have to be Sympathy for the Devil. The images of that song and Brad Pitt moaning about love and companionship leave a bad image to me.

I really dont care for the classic Rolling Stones version, and as a result, Gn'R's cover version did very little to add any interest to the song for me...

Don't damn me is not a song to listen to all the time but at the right time and place it can be one of the best songs.... I know it has that driving feel to it when you pissed off or down in the dumps it gets you addrenline runnig. It picks me up everytime.

i'm no fan of My World either, although while it is far removed from anything normally associated with Guns n'Roses, the song is kind of amusing.

You Ain't The First, So Fine and My World are my least favourite. Then again My World is so painful to listen that I haven't listened to it enough for it to grow on me. Don't know what Izzy was thinking with YATF, its a childs song.

I didn't like Live And Let Die and thought it should be dropped from the set until I heard it live for the first time at the Dublin gig and thought it was one of the best songs of the night. Still, no credit to GnR coz its just a straight copy but heavier!

I used to dislike Bad Apples but now I like it, great chorus and awesome solo, I love the live version from Rock in Rio II. I'm not a big fan of Perfect Crime and Garden Of Eden. They would be good headbangers live but the studio versions aren't very interesting apart from the lyrics.

Get In The Ring is one of my fav GnR songs, great intro its just a simple rock n' roller but brilliant. The best intro to a song ever! Shotgun Blues is a cool song, love that line "And when your ripping off the children, somebody's fucking your wife". So Fine is kinda crap and makes no sense. It starts out as a love song, worrying considering its dedicated to a man! But then it changes to something. It's like two songs put together but it just doesn't work.

From the new stuff, Rhiad, Silkworms and Oh My God all suck. I don't like IRS either come to think of it.

Whatever the hell My World is - it's the worst.

The only other real contenders are Get In The Ring (because it sounds so freaking juvenile) and Shotgun Blues IMO.
Of course, if you throw the Spaghetti Incident in - there's a whole album full of contenders.

Um....wow... Crazy on Lies is arguably one of Axl's finest recorded work vocally. I want to say that if you dont like Crazy on Lies you don't like Axl or appreciate is vocal gifts. That is actually more shocking then saying you never liked Out To Get Me....you are fucking crazy dude. Maybe that is why you don't like it. Out To Get Me is pretty much THE GNR song that sums up Appetite Era GNR (I know its not as safe as saying WTTJ).

It (OTGM) so fucking nails the feeling when someone is fucking with you, the feeling of someone telling you what to do, and what to say. The feeling that people are out to get you. And it is one of the few songs that only Axl could sing. He sells that shit. Its the ultimate fuck you song. And it is very empowering. Its vintage GNR at its finest.
