Sounds like a lot of people here dont know much about NIN.  NIN=Trent Reznor,  Robin never had anything at all to do with NIN's studio albums.  Trent doesnt get along with many people for long.  Same guy who signed and produced albums for Manson and then wrote Star *@&Cers INC. all about how Manson sucks, and then had Manson sing it with him at Madison Square Garden.  Trent has also gone off on his new best friend Maynard about 50 times.  Also the NIN website isnt run by Trent and it is probably the most confusing band website of all time. 

Last I heard Trent hates Axl for stealing his road guitarist and didnt sound like he still respected Axl very much.

Oh and a NIN/GNR tour would last 1.5 shows tops.  First the cost would be astronomical.  NIN has one of the costliest productions in music and GNR isnt very cheap either.  Also combining two of the most confrontational eccentric people in rock history would be disasterous.  Both Trent and Axl are so egotistical I think that they would need to tour with an up and coming band that will just suck up to them. 

And just to reclarify things.  Pretty Hate Machine was released in 1989 and Axl had nothing to do with the success of the album.  I love Axl and he had a ton to do with the success of bands like Blind Melon, but absolutely nothing to do with NIN.  You could argue that Robin did, because their performance at Woodstock was incredible and created a ton of fans that never would have listened to industrial music before.

most definetely.... look... the only one who knows what a picture means is the one who took it or the one who gave instrunctions....sometimes it's coincedence....sometimes it's just a funny reference..... when he realy realy meaned something by it you will hear an announcement about NIN touring with Guns or that NIN came to the democracy studios to look a look at Axl's........ then you can speculate on the picture and tie the dots....for now the picture is just a funny reference....nothing more....nothing less

Most definitely a joke....I was talking to my friend here at work. die hard NIN's fan, and he says the same thing...it's prolly a joke or a coincidence but I tend to lean on the joke side.

That post makes the most sense out of that I all posts on this topce so far.  Plus is everyone forgetting the article that was out a couple of years ago where Trent called Robin a pole smoker and said he was Axl's bitch.  Okay so I'm totally exaggerating but he did talk about how Axl was paying for Robins house and shit.  He clearly wasn't  happy with Robin or Axl.
