It wonders me how old the Blues is. The only reason i ask this question is simply because it sounds very UYI and therefore, i was thinking this must be pretty old, maybe early-mid90s. I believe it can fit with UYI2. Everything in the song (live) is perfect. they just need to master it. So, how old do you guys think the Blues is?

No telling.? Axl may have written it 10 years ago.

Some artists' songs are written far, far in advance of being recorded.?

With that being the case they aren't officially "born" until they are recorded, and released.

Look how long Nirvana's "You Know You're Right" had been around before anyone heard it.? Most think the song just came out a couple years ago, because technically it did.?

To hardcore Gunners THE BLUES is about six years old now.? But to anyone else, it'll be brand new when the album finally comes out.

But, no telling how long ago it was written.? Sounds like another question for Captain A in the upcoming
"OK - LET'S TALK TO AXL ROSE:? Part III" thread. hihi

No matter how old it is. It's a timeless song. My favourite new GN'R song.

It's shame we'll never get to hear the stuff Zack worked on with Axl (and Slash).
