It would be interesting if Axl would allow the odd female singer into the picture. While listening to 'There was a Time' towards the end of the track i kept on thinking the track would work so much better (that word again) if some female with a super powerful voice came into it. There's a tack by the Rolling Stone (my favourite Stones song) called 'Gimme Shelter' and there's a female with a powerful voice that adds so much more to that track than what Mick J. can do. The version of Gimme Shelter i am referring to is on the Live Licks album and have no idea if the standard studio version has any females performing onit [i'm just checking that out now]

Years and years and years ago, there was a rumor that Axl was gonna sing a song with Alanis Morrisette for the 'Lord of the Rings' soundtrack. I think it would be very interesting to hear Axl sing with a woman on one of these songs...

I think it would be intersting if the intro's to all the songs didn't sound so fucking similar with the drum machine and the two note guitar into
If Axl would sing with a woman, i'd like to hear him with Joss Stone or Christina Aguilalere, the bot have incrdible pipes, and possibily, deaper voices than Axl

Years and years and years ago, there was a rumor that Axl was gonna sing a song with Alanis Morrisette for the 'Lord of the Rings' soundtrack. Jesus, we should gather all the different rumours we?ve heard though the years and make a ??Best Of?? compilation... BTW: I just can?t wait to hear Shaq and Axl rapping together...

They were part of 976-HORNS man. Ummmmm no. the 976 horns were the three chicks that played saxophones & trumpet. liza maxwell, Anne King & Cece Worrall. Roberta Freeman and Traci Amos were the two chicks that ruined the live version KoHD for nearly 2 years

I mentioned here along time ago about the rumour of Sarah Mclachlan being on CD. The rumour still hasn't been denied. She even made a 'no comment' remark when asked about it years ago. But I've never heard it mentioned since.

For this first record I'd like it to just be the band. Axl on lead vocals the other guys on back up. Maybe on the second or third it wouldn't be a bad idea.

I always kind of wondered what happened to Tracy and Roberta. They probably didn't do much after the illusion tour, but it must be quite the story to tell the kids that you once toured with the biggest rock band on the planet.
Anyone have any info on them or how they got the gig as backup singers for gnr in the first place?
