I'm hearing "think" in that line too. Very clearly.

But then again, it is or it is not only one word on one line. There's another 10 or so lines on that version of the lyrics that just aren't right. Once again, I can't get what the right lyrics are but I'm only saying that those people with good ears and who has enough language skills shouldn't be satisfied with those ones but should just keep on working... or wait until the song comes out in a product with a lyric sheet.

You can use Windows Sound Recorder to slow down the song by 100%. The lyrics I posted above are pretty accurate to what I hear when I listen to the slowed down version. He definitely does not say "Plead the fifth" in the fourth line of the first verse.

I don't think this argument will ever be resolved. These are probably just scratch lyrics that Axl laid down for the tracks just to get an idea of how he wants to vocals to flow. Hopefully he writes something better for the final version. I'm a bit disappointed with Axl's new lyrics with the exception of The Blues and Madagascar. There is no real cohesion in the lyrics and a lot of grammatical errors (example: It don't really matter. Gonna find out for yourself).

You dont think CITR are good lyrics? What are you talking about? As for his grammar/slang who cares, the AFD and UYI songs are just the same.

Like I said that verison is not even close. The ones we have are 95% correct save a few lines. Some of your lyrics dont even make sense.

No, I don't care much for the lyrics on CITR. It lacks direction and cohesion. Axl jumps from one thought to another. If I wasn't told that the song was about John Lennon, I would have no clue what Axl was talking about in the song.
