I've been listening to it over and over and I'm not getting sick of it.  It's really catchy.  The thing with Buckethead though, is his solos all sound very similiar.  This song is no exception.  He's good and all, but if he really isn't coming back to the band, it won't be that huge of a loss (except for the cool image obviously).

A freind at my tafe school just found IRS for me a few days ago, i was willing to not listen to it for obvious reasons but i jumped at it and let me tell ya, it's givin' me total new hope and excitment for Chinese Democracy.

 The song just kicks arse man, big time, it's got the (song) Chinese Democracy and It's So Easy feel to me all the way n' i once again i have this fuckin' massive high about the whole thing. I've always had the hype, but hearing this poor quality song is enough for me to be excited about.

The riffs in it are just mean n'  dirty, i have the basic idea of the song and only just prooves again what were in for...

Just fucking imagin when we get this bloody album......i think all basic functions will be cut off to any other band or music that will be out for a long long time

Has anyone found new hope or what have you in hearing this demo??

Something I noticed about the rythm guitar style playing/ it sounds as "dirty" and raw as Appetite. I was listening to "My michelle", then I put I.R.S, and I noticed the rythmic section's style is quite similar: Both raw, aggressive, "dirty" and groovy, melodious. I also noticed guitar parts along vocal parts, when the guitar follow and does the same note as Axl's vocals, it's really cool.

There is an Appetite vibe on IRS. Can't wait to hear the studio version.

Well I'm a non-english native language person so I don't really understand the lyrics, i don't pay attention to them, I just listen to the melody and the vocal lines.

I had a moment with IRS just now. I am pretty sure I have had this a couple times with this song before.

...waasn't looking at anything but this tripped out visualizer that is in sync with the song playing, and I put IRS on...and was just chilling. Shit is cool right now.

but fuck. something crazy. I think this is in my top few favorite GNR tracks. The whole catalog. I love that shit...all of it. But I can't think of another song that is cooler to me right now. IRS is owning my soul. It is kicking my ass hard, and I get all caught up in it. IRS is damn cool. All rock music for the last 15+ years sucks IRS's Dick. For real. I think this even laughs at most of what GNR has ever done too.

i can't fucking wait for the album to come out, i love madagascar, the blues, and irs. i don't even care what else is on the album, as long as there's those three it will rock.
as to whether it's better than the old catalogue is hard to say, for some reason it's totally different shit, it actually sounds modern in some aspects, and it doesn't suck. Au contraire. It's fucking jammin'. i will say i like axl singing over buckethead's solos just as much (if not more) than him singing over slash's. too damn bad all this leaving shit. hopefully robin or whoever can step up
