I think they'll start with e festival tour in Europe and than kick off a major tour starting in the US and then again a full blown world tour....

There is absolutley NO chance of the old line up will come together and play at this festival and in my opinion any other festival on the planet. Do you honestly think that after all the bullshit, lawsuits, insults and not to mention years of time and money that Axl has put into this new album that he's just going to let slash, matt and duff share in this glory. What about Velvet revolver ? last time I looked they were still a band, also the current members of GNR, I can hardly see after what they have been through they are just going to move aside.......the old line up is in the past.

bout 1 and a half hours.....depending on traffic etc

Ive read that day tickets will only be on sale once they have sold a certain number of weekend tickets. ?This of course runs the risk of the festival selling out as it gets more popular every year. ?There is a chance there may not be any day tickets and if there are...there wont be loads.  Im counting on them....

There is no guarantee.

No offence, but now Guns are playing, a whole heap of people will come for the weekend.

I've just forked out a little over ?150 for a weekend of camping, music, and my arse getting kicked by Axl and the boys.

If day tickets do go on sale, you are looking at anywhere between ?60-70.

Oh, and in 109 days time, I'll be seeing Uncle Axl at the home of rock. peace

And Solger, Donington is quite a way from London... a couple hours... I suggest you drive yourself rather than use the train. It'll be quicker, and probably less expensive.

it's great seeing gn'r getting booked for MULITPLE shows, but is there any official word from the GN'R camp?Huh

I hope Gn'R fans, especially those shelling out their hard earned bucks, don't have to go through silent treatment again and then find out the show is cancelled by Axl before he even confirmed it.

Oh well, bring on CD!   ok

Yeah it's too bad that none of the really big festivals are happening this year, well except for Waldrock. I sent the promoters an email requesting details about the line up but they won't say anything until they have like 85% of the bands confirmed? Undecided
